After catching up with Jan & Ken (Brad's mum and dad), Sandra and Chris (sister and brother inlaw), John & Julie (brother and partner) and of course the beautiful Grandma and Grandad (we made it in time for Grandad's 97th birthday), we hit The Strand. The Strand is the main esplanade in Townsville, has a seawater rock pool for swimming, heaps of playgrounds and the wet playground the kids love. We also did The Strand night market, bought some lovely pineapple wine and strolled through the markets enjoying the scenery of the ocean in the background.....

A couple of French girls painting their van (think our bus was inspiration), a sneaky wine in a plastic cup for the winos. Back at home to enjoy the Pineapple Wine by the pool. Brad gets a haircut from his mum.
